Air Trails
2020
Drawing / Pastel and acrylic on paper
50 x 35 x 6 cm
The ‘Air Trails’ series emerged as a late byproduct of my 2019 solo exhibition ‘Guest: Ghost’ at Be’eri Gallery. The works explore repetition through delicate lines and the slow, almost imperceptible rotation of the minute hand on a concealed clock mechanism. A ghostly figure appears on the hand, shifting within the frame with each subtle movement. The figure moves slowly, creating a quiet, hypnotic illusion of motion, as if it were a fleeting presence—moving unnoticed, like a silent whisper of wind.
